Actor Vikrant Masseymobile slots, 37, who has given back-to-back stellar performances, has announced retirement from acting today, December 2. Vikrant took to his Instagram handle to share the news with his fans.
His note read: “The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise its time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor.”
Massey further wrote, "So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many a years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between." He concluded his note with, 'Forever indebted'.

Reportedly, Vikrant is currently working on two films: Yaar Jigri and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan.
The decision to quit acting seems to have has left his fans disappointed and they are in total disbelief. They have flooded the comments section with messages for the actor-, many even asking to reconsider the decision.
Vikrant started his acting career on television with the show Dhoom Machao Dhoom. He became a household name with Balika Vadhu in 2009. He left television and made his debut in Bollywood with Lootera in 2013. Later, he appeared in A Death in the Gunj, Ginny Weds Sunnymobile slots, Haseen Dillruba, Love Hostel, 12th Fail, and Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba among others. Vikrant has stunned everyone with his works. His recent release was Sabarmati Express, for which he was lauded for his stellar acting.
